OREO Layered Nanaimo Bar Cheesecake

Ingredients
- 2½ cups Oreo Baking Crumbs
- ½ cup butter, melted
- ¼ cup chopped pecans
- ¼ cup flaked coconut
- 4 pkg. (250 g each) brick cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 Tbsp. custard powder
- 4 eggs
- ½ cup 35% whipping cream
- 6 oz. (3/4 of 225-g pkg.) semi-sweet baking chocolate, broken into small pieces
Preparation
- Heat oven to 350°F.
- Combine baking crumbs, butter, nuts and coconut; press onto bottom of 13x9-inch pan.
- Beat cream cheese, sugar and custard powder in large bowl with mixer until blended. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition just until blended. Pour over crust.
- Bake 40 min. or until centre is almost set. Cool completely. Refrigerate cheesecake 3 hours.
- Cook whipping cream and chocolate in saucepan over low heat until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring occasionally. Pour over cheesecake. Refrigerate 15 min. or until chocolate topping is firm.

After the chocolate topping is firm, place additional 2 oz. chocolate in microwaveable bowl. Microwave as directed on package. Pour into small resealable plastic bag; seal bag. Snip off one small corner from bottom of bag, then twist top of bag to squeeze chocolate from bag to pipe a special message, such as " Greetings," on top of the cheesecake.
