ServingsMakes 4 servings, 6 topped crackers (70 g) each.
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. rice vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. Korean red chili flakes (Gochugaru)
  • ½ tsp. sesame oil
  • 2 cups thin English cucumber slices
  • ¼ cup short thin matchlike carrot sticks
  • 1 green onion, thinly sliced
  • 24 Ritz Crackers
  • 1 tsp. sesame seeds, toasted
  • Combine first 5 ingredients in medium bowl.
  • Add vegetables; mix lightly. Let stand 30 min. or up to 1 hour to marinate.
  • Drain cucumber mixture just before serving; spoon onto crackers.
  • Sprinkle with sesame seeds.

    Prepare using mini cucumbers.

    Look for the Korean red chili flakes in Asian grocery stores. Or, you can order it online. It's unique subtly spiced seasoning adds the perfect touch of flavour to your favourite Korean dishes.

    Substitute 1/2 tsp. Korean red chili powder for the Korean red chili flakes.
