PEEK FREANS Maple-Apple Crisp

ServingsMakes 2 servings, 1/2 cup (125 mL) each.
  • 1 apple, peeled, chopped
  • 1 tsp. brown sugar
  • 2 Peek Freans Maple Leaf Biscuits, crushed
  • 2 Tbsp. quick-cooking oats
  • 1 tsp. maple syrup
  • 1 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 2 Tbsp. thawed frozen whipped topping
  • Heat oven to 375ºF.
  • Toss apples with sugar; spoon into 2 ramekins.
  • Mix next 4 ingredients; sprinkle over apples.
  • Bake 25 to 30 min. or until apples are tender and topping is crisp and golden brown. Serve topped with whipped topping.

  • Special Extra
    Add 2 Tbsp. chopped pecans to topping mixture before sprinkling over apples.
  • Special Extra
    Add 1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon to apple mixture before spooning into ramekins.
  • For a Crowd
    This recipe can easily be multiplied to serve more guests. For 6 servings, simply multiply each ingredient by 3 and bake in a 9-inch square baking dish.
