Ooey Gooey CADBURY Oven S'mores

Ingredients
  • 15 Honey Maid Wafers, broken crosswise in half (30 squares), divided
  • 45 marshmallows, cut in half, divided
  • 15 squares Cadbury Dairy Milk Made for S'mores Bar (See Note.)

CAUTION: The marshmallow-topped wafers will be hot. Adult supervision is required.

Preparation
  • Heat oven to 400°F.

  • Place 15 wafer squares, with edges touching, on bottom of 13x9-inch pan sprayed with cooking spray. 

  • Top each wafer square in pan with 2 marshmallow halves, cut sides up, and 1 chocolate square. 

  • Cover with remaining wafer squares.  Top each square with 4 of the remaining marshmallow halves, cut sides down.

  • Bake 8 to 10 min. or until marshmallows are lightly browned.  Remove from oven. 

  • Let stand 5 min. before serving.

Recipe Tips
  • Note

    You will need to purchase 2 Cadbury Dairy Milk Made for S'mores Bars (180 g each) to have enough squares to prepare this recipe.  Reserve the remaining chocolate square for snacking or other use.

  • How to Easily Cut the Marshmallows

    Spray the blade of a knife or the blades of kitchen shears or scissors with cooking spray, then use to cut the marshmallows in half.  Or, instead of cutting, twist each marshmallow into 2 pieces. 

  • Leftover S'mores

    Store leftover s'mores covered. You will find that they are just as delicious when served at room temperature, just not as gooey as when they are served warm. If you want to reheat a s'more, place 1 serving on a microwaveable plate. Microwave on HIGH 15 to 20 sec. or until the top marshmallows begin to puff.

  • Variation

    Prepare recipe as directed, substituting 8 cups miniature marshmallows for the 45 large marshmallows, and adding 4 cups marshmallows to each of the 2 dessert layers.

  • Special Extra

    Spread 1 tsp. creamy peanut butter onto each wafer square placed on bottom of pan before topping with the remaining ingredients and baking as directed.
