Zippy Hot Broccoli Dip Madeover Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 cups fresh broccoli florets, chopped
  • 3/4 cup shredded reduced-fat double-cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup Miracle Whip Calorie-Wise Spread
  • 1/2 cup chopped red peppers
  • 1/4 cup grated reduced-fat Parmesan cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  •  Triscuit Thin Crisps Original Crackers

Instructions

  • Heat  oven to 375°F.
  • Combine  ingredients.
  • Spoon  into 9-inch pie plate.
  • Bake  20 min. or until heated through. Serve with crackers.

SubstituteSubstitute a shallow baking dish for the pie plate.

Makeover - How We Did ItWe saved 30 calories and 3.5 grams of total fat, including 2 grams of saturated fat, per serving by substituting Miracle Whip Calorie-Wise Dressing for the sour cream and using shredded reduced-fat double-cheddar cheese and grated reduced-fat Parmesan cheese. We also upped the vitamin C content by increasing both the broccoli and red peppers, making the dip a good source of vitamin C.
