Special ExtraCut cheddar slices into maple leaf-shapes using small cookie cutter. The brie and feta cheeses can also be cut into maple leaf -shapes using a larger cookie cutter.
Vary the Cheese & FruitsFor a more interesting board, serve 3 or 4 varieties of cheeses featuring a variety of textures, shapes and flavours. Soft, semi-soft and firm cheese; cubes, slices, logs and wedges all add more interest. Cut the cheese into maple leaf-shapes. Choose fruits that are in season and have complementary flavours, textures and shapes, such as clusters of grapes, sliced crisp apples and pears, and soft berries.
Cheese TipsFor best flavour, let the cheeses sit for about 15 min. at room temperature before serving. Soft, semi-soft and firm cheese; cubes, slices, logs and wedges all add more interest. If serving a wedge or full piece of cheese, be sure to place a knife on the board for each variety of cheese you are serving.
