Shrimp Spread Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 lb.  frozen shrimp (41 to 50 count), cooked, peeled, deveined and divided
  • 1 tub  (250 g) soft cream cheese
  • 3/4 cup  finely chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup  finely chopped stuffed green olives
  •  Ritz Crackers

Instructions

  • Chop  enough shrimp into small pieces to measure 1 cup; reserve remaining whole shrimp for garnish.
  • Combine  chopped shrimp, cream cheese, celery and olives in medium bowl until well blended.
  • Spoon  onto centre of platter or dinner plate. Shape into 6-inch round. Press reserved whole shrimp into side of spread. Serve with crackers.

Recipe Tips

Make-AheadDip can be made a day ahead for a stronger shrimp flavour. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
