Rutabaga Puff Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 rutabaga, peeled, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/2 cup Miracle Whip Original Spread
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp. onion powder
  • 12 Ritz Crackers, crushed (about 1/3 cup)

Instructions

  • Heat  oven 375ºF
  • Cook  rutabaga in boiling water in covered saucepan 45 min. or until tender; drain. Place in large bowl; mash until smooth. Add Miracle Whip, egg, flour, baking powder and seasonings; mix well.
  • Spoon  into 1.5-L casserole dish sprayed with cooking spray. Top with cracker crumbs.
  • Bake  35 min. or until heated through.
