NoteThe dough can be refrigerated up to 24 hours before rolling into balls, coating with sugar mixture and baking as directed. Or the uncoated dough balls can be frozen up to 2 months. If freezing, place dough balls in single layer on parchment-covered rimmed baking sheet and freeze 2 hours or until firm. Then, place balls in freezer-weight resealable plastic bags and freeze up to 2 months. To bake, remove as many balls of dough that are needed and let stand at room temperature for about 30 min. Then, roll in icing sugar mixture and bake as directed.

How to StoreStore cooled cookies in airtight container at room temperature up to 5 days before serving. Or, the cooled cookies can be layered between sheets of parchment paper in freezer container and frozen up to 2 months.
