Mini Cheese Balls Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 tub (250 g) herb and garlic cream cheese spread
  • 1 pkg. (200 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. bacon bits
  • 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup toasted walnuts, ground
  •  Ritz Crackers

Instructions

  • Mix  cream cheese spread and mozzarella cheese until well blended. Stir in bacon bits and seasoning.
  • Shape  mixture into 54 balls, 1 level tsp. each. Roll in walnuts. Cover with plastic wrap.
  • Refrigerate  at least 2 hours. Serve with crackers.

Recipe Tips

SubstituteTo switch up the flavour of these cheese balls, substitute shredded double-cheddar cheese for mozzarella and 2 Tbsp. each chopped fresh parsley, fresh basil and chives for the seasonings.

Make AheadMake these ahead, wrap well and freeze up to 2 weeks ahead!

Better For YouSave 25 calories and 3 grams saturated fat by substituting shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese and garden vegetable light cream cheese for the regular products.
