Maple-Apple Crisp Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 apple, peeled, chopped
  • 1 tsp. brown sugar
  • David Maple Leaf Cookies, crushed
  • 2 Tbsp. quick-cooking oats
  • 1 tsp. maple syrup
  • 1 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 2 Tbsp. thawed Cool Whip Whipped Topping

Instructions

  • Heat  oven to 375ºF.
  • Toss  apples with sugar; spoon into 2 ramekins.
  • Mix  next 4 ingredients; sprinkle over apples.
  • Bake  25 to 30 min. or until apples are tender and topping is crisp and golden brown. Serve topped with Cool Whip.

Recipe Tips

Special ExtraAdd 2 Tbsp. chopped pecans to topping mixture before sprinkling over apples.

Special ExtraAdd 1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon to apple mixture before spooning into ramekins.

For a CrowdThis recipe can easily be multiplied to serve more guests. For 6 servings, simply multiply each ingredient by 3 and bake in a 9-inch square baking dish.
