Easy Apple-Cheddar Melts Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 small green apple, cut into 40 thin slices
  • 1 small red apple, cut into 40 thin slices
  • 1 pkg. (200 g) light medium cheddar cheese, cut into 20 slices
  • 40 Triscuit 37% Less Fat Crackers

Instructions

  • Heat  oven to 350ºF.
  • Mix  sugar and cinnamon in medium bowl. Add apples; toss to coat. Cut cheese slices diagonally in half.
  • Place  crackers in single layer on baking sheet; top with cheese and apples.
  • Bake  4 to 5 min. or until cheese is melted. Serve warm.

SubstitutePrepare using Cracker Barrel Marble Cheddar Cheese Light.

Special ExtraAdd 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg to cinnamon-sugar mixture before using as directed.
