Cranberry-Cheese Spread Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 tub (340 g) soft cream cheese product
  • 1 can (348 mL) jellied cranberry sauce
  • 1/4 cup drained canned pineapple tidbits, coarsely chopped
  • 1/3 cup toasted chopped pecans, divided
  • 2-1/2 tsp. finely chopped fresh jalapeño peppers, divided
  •  Ritz Crackers

Instructions

  • Run  knife around edge of cream cheese product in tub; carefully unmold onto plate.
  • Combine  cranberry sauce, pineapple, 1/4 cup nuts and 2 tsp. peppers; spread over cream cheese.
  • Refrigerate  30 min.
  • Garnish  with remaining nuts and peppers before serving with the crackers.

Spice it UpFor more heat, increase the measure of chopped jalapeño peppers to taste.
