Chipotle-Apricot Cream Cheese Spread Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 tub (250 g) soft cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup apricot jam
  • 1 canned chipotle pepper in adobo sauce, finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 1 green onion, finely chopped
  •  Ritz Crackers

Instructions

  • Spread  cream cheese spread onto bottom of pie plate.
  • Cook  jam, peppers and water in saucepan on medium-low heat 5 min. or until jam is melted, stirring occasionally. Stir in onions; spread over cream cheese.
  • Serve  with crackers.

Recipe Tips

Variation Jam mixture can be cooked in the microwave instead of on top of the stove. Microwave jam, peppers and water in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1 min. or until heated through, stirring every 30 sec. Stir in onions, then continue as directed.
