Baked Peaches with OREO Topping Recipe

Ingredients

  • Oreo Cookies
  • 12 Ritz Crackers
  • 4 tsp. butter, softened
  • 2 cans (398 mL/14 fl. oz. each) peach halves in light syrup in Fruit Juice, drained, juice reserved

Instructions

  • Preheat  oven to 400°F. Place cookies and crackers in food processor container; cover. Process until finely chopped. Add butter; process just until combined.
  • Place  peach halves, cut-sides up, in shallow baking dish. Top each with 1 Tbsp. of the crumb mixture.
  • Bake  15 min. or until heated through. Broil 2 to 3 min. or until topping is lightly browned. Serve warm drizzled with the reserved peach juice, if desired.

Recipe Tips

Great SubstituteFor a crunchy almond topping, substitute 1/3 cup unblanched almonds for the 6 Oreo Cookies.
